Barry Sanders

Executive Vice President, North America

Barry was named executive vice president of the North America business in September 2007. This business markets the Company's leading consumer lawn and garden brands: Scotts®, Miracle-Gro®, Ortho® and Roundup®. Barry also is responsible for the Company's Scotts LawnService business as well as Global Supply Chain, Global Research & Development and Global Business Information Services (GBIS).

Prior to this position, Barry was executive vice president of Global Technologies & Operations, which included worldwide supply chain, research and development and information technology.

Barry joined ScottsMiracle-Gro in 2001 as senior vice president in charge of Global Business Improvement. He later held leadership positions in Sales and Supply Chain for the North America consumer.

Prior to ScottsMiracle-Gro, Barry was with the former Ernst & Young consulting organization for 10 years, specializing in operations management.

He has a bachelor's degree in business from Bowling Green University (Ohio) and an MBA from the University of Dayton (Ohio).
