Fred Bosch

Senior Vice President, Global Professional

Fred is responsible for the Global Professional business, which primarily includes the marketing of specialty fertilizers and plant protection products to the commercial horticultural industry - greenhouses and nurseries, landscape professionals and high-value specialty agriculture. He was named to this position in July 2007.

He joined ScottsMiracle-Gro in August 2000 as vice president of Sales for the International Professional business, and was most recently vice president, Europe.

Prior to his career at ScottsMiracle-Gro, Fred was president of European operations for Barenbrug, a leading seed and field crops company. He also led Barenbrug's North America operations and had several other leadership assignments.

Fred earned bachelor's degrees in crop science and plant pathology at Wageningen University in The Netherlands, where he also completed his MSc/MBA degree.
