Jeff Garascia, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Global Research & Development

Jeff was named senior vice president in October 2008. He is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of products, services, process and packaging innovations worldwide. He is also responsible for Global Portfolio Management and Global Quality Assurance for the Company.

Jeff was most recently vice president, Global Research & Development.

He began his career with the Company in 2005 as vice president, Customer Care, for Smith & Hawken. He also served as vice president, Global Strategy and Development, with the Global Technologies & Operations organization.

Prior to ScottsMiracle-Gro, Jeff spent eight years with Booz Allen Hamilton, a business consultant, helping a variety of clients - including ScottsMiracle-Gro - restructure and re-engineer to improve operational and financial performance.

Jeff has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston as well as a master's degree and doctorate in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
