Jeff Garascia, Ph.D.

Senior Vice President, Global Research & Development

Jeff is senior vice president in October 2008, responsible for the Company's product, process and packaging innovations and quality worldwide, a position he has held since October 2008.

Jeff was most recently vice president, Global Research & Development. He began his career with the Company in 2005 as vice president, Customer Care, and later served as vice president, Global Strategy and Development, with the Global Technologies & Operations organization.

Prior to ScottsMiracle-Gro, Jeff spent eight years with Booz Allen Hamilton, a business consultant, helping a variety of clients – including ScottsMiracle-Gro – improve operational and financial performance.

Jeff has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston as well as a master's degree and doctorate in industrial engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
