Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio

ScottsMiracle-Gro recently pledged a multi-year gift to the Change Their Tomorrow campaign of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation to support the hospital's mission to provide the highest quality health care, advocacy, research, education and service to children and their families. Already the fifth largest children's hospital in the U.S. and among the leading pediatric research centers, the campaign will fund a strategic expansion effort which includes planned investments in facilities, patient care and research programs, and talent recruitment.

ScottsMiracle-Gro is also a major supporter of Nationwide Children's Hospital's Center for Child and Family Advocacy. The center provides an innovative, one-stop location for families seeking to break the cycle of domestic violence.

YMCA - Union County, Ohio

ScottsMiracle-Gro provided $1 million in funding for the Union County YMCA's building campaign in our hometown of Marysville. Funding was used to construct an indoor pool to support water therapy classes and to build a state-of-the-art fitness center. The pool serves as home to area swim teams and promotes fitness for swimmers of all ages.

Memorial Hospital of Union County, Ohio

A $500,000 donation by ScottsMiracle-Gro to the Memorial Hospital of Union County's new Women's Health Center helped create a new neo-natal care facility to serve women and children in the Marysville area. ScottsMiracle-Gro also recently made a multi-year pledge toward the hospital's purchase of a Dual Source 64 Slice CT Scanner, one of only two in the state of Ohio.

Union County Veterans Memorial Monument

The Union County Veterans Memorial Monument recognizes all Union County veterans who have served in our armed forces. ScottsMiracle-Gro, along with its Chairman and CEO Jim Hagedorn, made the largest contributions to this effort and served as a driving force in the establishment of the memorial. Located on the lawn of the Union County Courthouse in Marysville, Ohio, the memorial consists of a granite monument, an interactive computer kiosk and memorial bricks engraved with the names of veterans.
